jordan supercross the boys are back in town - and jackie riess too

The Scott county fairgrounds were rocking friday night april 26. This was a replacement date for the cancelled 4-20 race. No more rain and snow. The weather was great and the temps were in the 70's. The track was perfectly prepped by Lee Theis and his Motokazie crew. There was a good turn  out on the friday night season opener.Motokazie proved that supercross can be exciting, challenging, and safe too. No ambulance runs or serious injuries  all night.Great job by Motokazie. In race action Tim Schulz dominated the pro class with a win on the KTM sx450  sponsored by Motorex oil. In the vet +30 class Gene Miller (former Dale's performance 100cc liquid lightning champ) won with a new 2013 Honda crf450 that looked tricker than Chad Reed's factory bike.Tim Schulz's Motorex oil/KTM teammate Boris Mahlich  got second place.Multi time Motokazie state champ Norm Miesen charged through the pack to get third place after a bad start. Jackie Riess won the womens class on a new KTM 250..Jay Telford posted another win  the open beginner class. In the Quad sport class Luke Radunz won and Danielle Radunz finished second. Nick Norby was sorting out a new Blaster and DNF'd.Tough break for Nick as he just moved out ot the mini quads class. It was a great race and everyone had fun. There was even a new and improved concessions stand. The next Jordan SX is saturday 5-4. See you there.
